The Snowsport Industries of Great Britain (SIGB) Tests Out Skis for Winter 2015/16 in Kühtai

From 23 to 27 February 2015, winter sports retailers and media representatives from the United Kingdom will be testing the latest skis at over 2,020 metres above sea level in Kühtai.
"Since 2012, a select group of British sports retailers and media representatives have met each year here in Kühtai to put the latest skis to the test," says Arthur Krasovic, Managing Director of the Kühtai Tourist Office, who is delighted with the event that has been a regular fixture for three years. As part of the successful initiative, selected test skiers have the chance to put the next winter's collection through its paces on a wide variety of slopes. "The versatility of our ski resort, with its well-groomed slopes of different levels of difficulty, lots of off-piste opportunities and the K-Park, which is famous from the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games, make Kühtai the ideal test venue," explains Philip Haslwanter, Managing Director of Bergbahnen Kühtai. The SIGB Ski Test is specifically tailored to the needs of UK ski retailers and offers all participants who are serious about selecting their equipment range crucial knowledge advantages when it comes to putting together their range.
A look back at the 2014 SIGB Ski Test
In total, 138 testers from 27 retail and 7 media organisations took part in the Ski Test in 2014. In the course of the five-day event, 768 pairs of skis from 19 manufacturers were tested, and 3,400 test results recorded.
