Martin Wolf and Matteo Cassina to Deliver Keynote Speeches at the #TradingDebates
#TradingDebates, Saxo Capital Markets' flagship biannual event aimed at encouraging debate on the topic of trading and markets returns to London this month with discussion and analysis on a range of issues relating to volatility and performance. The event which gathers high profile speakers from the world of banking, exchanges, technology and professional services will take place on 22 October at the British Museum in London.
Matteo Cassina, Head of Business Lines at Saxo Bank, will deliver a keynote address on the evolution of the markets and innovation. This will be followed by panel discussions on the future of trading volumes and market structure; and a look at whether the fintech boom is an opportunity of threat for financial services.
The event will then feature a keynote speech delivered by Martin Wolf, Chief Economics Commentator at the Financial Times, followed by two panels on the challenge facing the global economy and the currency markets, respectively.
Matteo Cassina, Head of Business Lines at Saxo Bank, said: "Financial markets have undergone a profound transformation, triggered by regulatory, structural and technological change, and driven through innovation. There has never been a more interesting time to have a discussion on the evolution of trading and markets, and we pride ourselves in offering an open forum for discussion on these important topics."
Delegates can join #TradingDebates in person on the day, or follow the discussions live on twitter using the hashtag #tradingdebates. The previous edition of #TradingDebates has been nominated by Social Buzz Awards for the best Social Media Campaign.
