MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, Aug. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Frost & Sullivan Institute (a registered 501-(c) 3 non-profit), in cooperation with Enabling Thought Leadership, brings together a panel of Silicon Valley pioneers for "The Legends of Silicon Valley Forum" at GIL 2012: Silicon Valley, taking place Sept. 9 to 12, 2012 at the Fairmont San Jose in San Jose, Calif.
The forum promises a provocative and interactive discussion focused around the forthcoming outlook of Silicon Valley that will unquestionably evolve into a constructive debate. Candid dialogue exploring key insights and best practices driving today's stakeholders will include social media, green technologies, cloud computing as well as transcendent management issues, such as innovation and retention of talent.

Mike Malone, author, entrepreneur and journalist with ABC News Online, will be moderating the panel, which presently includes the following Silicon Valley thought leaders (with more to be announced soon):
Bill Davidow – Silicon Valley engineer, former Intel marketing executive, author and venture capitalist, including his position as a founding partner and Partner Emeritus at Mohr Davidow Ventures.
Judith L. Estrin – The chief executive officer of JLABS, LLC and author of "Closing the Innovation Gap." Estrin has held leadership positions in companies such Cisco, FedEx and the Walt Disney Company and has been listed on three occasions as one of Fortune's "50 Most Powerful Women in American Business."
Richard 'Dick' Kramlich – The co-founder of NEA Management Company, in which he drove the growth of nine companies ranging from start-up to near start-up businesses to market values in excess of $1 billion.
Kim Polese – The chairwoman of ClearStreet, co-founder of Marimba and the original Cisco product manager who coined "Java." Polese was named one of Time magazine's "Top 25 Most Influential People in America" and one of Red Herring's "Top 20 Entrepreneurs."
Dr. T.J. Rodgers – The founder of Cypress Semiconductor, which has been called a "quintessential entrepreneurial company" by The Wall Street Journal, and recipient of the 2011 "Visionary Award" from the SV Forum, a technology leadership organization, for his role in driving global innovation.
John Warnock – The co-founder of Adobe who pioneered the development of graphics, publishing, Web and electronic document technologies that have revolutionized the field of publishing and visual communications.
