Kühtai - excellent winter sports facilities for skiing events and holidays
Kühtai is located at over 2,020 metres above sea level and is one of the highest winter sports locations in the Tyrol. Thanks to virtually guaranteed snow, this year Kühtai was able to host the opening round of the Luge World Cup on Natural Track, an IPC World Cup race and two women's Skiing World Cup races (Giant Slalom and Slalom). For many years, the SiGB ski tests (Snowsport Industries of Great Britain) have been held in Kühtai each year. The combination of guaranteed snow, a tourism infrastructure and a location with convenient transport links only 35 minutes from Innsbruck's international transport connections make Kühtai a popular winter sports destination.
