The Investment Migration Council Holds Launch Event in Singapore

The Governing Board of the Investment Migration Council held its first Members' Lunch last week in Singapore.

The Investment Migration Council (IMC) was launched at the beginning of October 2014, having been formed by the leading experts within the immigration and citizenship-by-investment industry to bring together the foremost stakeholders within the field and to give the industry a voice.

The first Members' Lunch took place with special guests the Hon. Dr. Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister of the Republic of Malta, and Mr Toine Knipping, founder and CEO of Amicorp.

In his address Mr Bruno L'ecuyer said, "A core part of our remit is to set standards on a global level and interact with other professional associations, governments and other international organisations in relation to investment migration".

He went on to re-affirm that the council will help to improve public understanding of the issues faced by clients and governments and facilitate education and promote high professional ethics amongst immigration practitioners.
