MARBELLA, Spain, June 16, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The Encore Classical Music Festival announces its preview event and first production: On July 20, 2022, the Orchestra and Chorus of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and superstar conductor, Maestro Zubin Mehta, will take the Marbella stage. Over 150 of the world's most accomplished musicians and artists will give a monumental live performance of Beethoven's 9th symphony. The event takes place in the newly-revitalized Marbella Arena, a spectacular venue and the perfect backdrop for the greatest outdoor drama on the Costa del Sol.

Massimo Giordano will be in charge of the artistic direction of The Encore. The Italian-born opera singer has earned the respect of the classical music world and his global recognition during the course of a successful 30-year long career. He will be putting his knowledge and unique vision of musical art to the service of the new festival.
