The New Program Exploring the Technological Growth, International Outlook and Regulation & Reform Within the Banking Sector.
The British Bankers' Association (BBA) and television heavyweights ITN productions celebrated their partnership with the launch of 'The Future of Banking' news programme at this year's annual conference. The successful showing accompanied by an evening drinks reception took place at The Brewery, London. The annual conference, which attracted 400 delegates, paid host to a series of panel discussions, breakout sessions and network recesses.
National newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky presented the programme from the ITN News Studios and the aim of the initiative is to ensure that banks of all shapes and sizes are playing a part to foster greater collaboration between innovative organisations and financial institutions to shape the future banking environment. This includes a focus on mobile banking, cyber security, talent in banking and, of course, regulation and reform.
The day consisted of captivating panel discussions on all areas of the banking sector, including global banking and the international outlook, what impact of recent fines have had on the global banking industry and how digital is revolutionising banking.
