The Autumn Sourcing Season in Hong Kong Ready to Kick Off
HONG KONG, Oct. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MEGA SHOW PART 1 is the most important sourcing show in Hong Kong this month with over 4784 booths of export-ready Asian suppliers presenting the very best and newest in gifts, housewares, toys, premiums, stationery, glassware trends, gift wrap and packaging and festive products to an expected audience of over 46,000 buyers. MEGA SHOW PART 1 is open from Sunday 20 to Wednesday 23 OCTOBER and the trade only show will take place at the downtown Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Drive, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
MEGA SHOW PART 1 will present 7 major products sectors, GIFTS AND PREMIUMS, HOUSEWARES AND HOME DECOR, CHRISTMAS, FESTIVE AND SEASONAL, TOYS AND GAMES plus BABY AND CHILD, GIFTWRAP AND PACKAGING, GLASSWARE TRENDS and ASIA AND INTERNATIONAL FOCUS presenting a diverse selection of GIFTS AND HOMEWARES.
GO GREEN, the special focus on eco-friendly products is a highlight and has increased to over 500 companies, responding to consumer demand.
Eleven group pavilions are also on show from MAINLAND CHINA, INDIA, INDONESIA, JAPAN, MALAYSIA, SOUTH KOREA, TAIWAN, THAILAND, THE PHILIPPINES, UNITED KINGDOM and VIETNAM.

Over 1150 companies are new exhibitors this season.
In response to demand, more and more international based design-led manufacturers are now participating in MEGA SHOW to sell their ranges globally as well as take advantage of the show to expand their customer base in the rising economies of Asia. From 2014 a further increase in the participation of European and American companies is expected.
