The auction of this especially unique property asset of great historical value will be carried out in the form of an internet ascending price auction. The auction process will be open until 21st October. The starting price for the asset is €3.5 million. The property complex is in excellent condition of preservation.

Butrón Castle is one of the symbols of Bizkaia and has been recognized as a protected heritage building. It has a built surface of over 2,400 square metres and is located in a privileged environment with a park of over 35,000m2.

Butrón Castle - currently belonging to INBISA - was for over 300 years (from the 13th to the 16th centuries) a bastion around which the history of Bizkaia developed. It is a magnificent monument of Romanticism.
The Castle was built in the Middle Ages by the Butrón family and was renovated by Francisco de Cubas and González-Montes, Marquis of Cubas, at the end of the 19th century. It is surrounded by an extensive parkland.
