Boxwood expands into financial services and energy
Boxwood, the award-winning management consultancy firm, announces the appointment of Terry Morgan CBE as a Non-Executive Board Director. Terry joins with immediate effect and will be supporting Boxwood's senior management team as the business grows. His key roles will be to deepen the company's knowledge on transport and infrastructure, assist with Boxwood's planned expansion and strengthen their corporate governance.
Terry is Chairman of Crossrail, a £14.9bn project, sponsored by the DfT and TfL, to deliver a world class affordable railway. Prior to this, Terry was Chief Executive of Tube Lines, and before that Group Managing Director, Operations for BAE Systems. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Institute of Electrical Engineers and is currently President of the Chartered Management Institute.

Terry Morgan was appointed to the post of Chairman Crossrail Ltd with effect from 1 June 2009. He was previously Chief Executive of Tube Lines. Prior to this he was Group Managing Director, Operations, of BAE Systems, having previously filled the roles of Managing Director, Royal Ordnance Division, and Group HR Resources Director. Before moving to BAE, he was Managing Director Land Rover.
He is the Non-Executive Chairman of the Manufacturing Technology Centre(MTC), the National Skills Academy for Railway Engineering (NSARE) and a Non-Executive Director of MITIE plc and sits on the Board of Gateway to London. He is also fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Civil Engineering (ICE) and a companion of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). He was also awarded a CBE in 2008.
