Terra Nova Minerals Inc. Announces Addition to Proposed Management Team

Further to the press release dated March 29, 2012 in respect of the proposed new management of Terra Nova Minerals Inc., Norman J. Mackenzie, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Terra Nova Minerals Inc. ("Terra Nova" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce, that pending approval of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") Mr. Steven Harding will also be appointed to the Corporation's board of directors.

Mr. Harding, P.Geol., has been President and CEO of Contact Exploration Inc. since April 12, 2010, a junior oil and gas company listed on the Exchange.  Prior to that, he was President of Perfect Ocean Investments Inc. from 2005 to 2010, and was Exploration Manager/Vice President for Encana Resources from 1998 until 2004.  Mr. Harding has also served as a director of Huntington Exploration Inc., a junior oil and gas company listed on the Exchange.

The common shares of Terra Nova are currently halted and will continue to be halted pending Exchange approval of the previously announced acquisition by the Corporation of oil and gas licenses located in Australia.
