Telehouse Europe, a leading provider of global data centres and managed ICT services, announced today that it has undergone an extensive RMADS (Risk Management and Accreditation Documentation Set) process for the Public Sector. This follows the implementation of the new Government Security Classifications on April 2nd 2014.

The new Her Majesty's Government classifications place an emphasis on government departments to make security decisions based on a risk assessment of their data in relation to both physical and information security principles. In line with this, RMADS facilitates a comprehensive due diligence process in the selection of infrastructure requirements based on CSE (Catalogue of Security Equipment), SAPMA (Security Assessment of Protectively Marked Assets) and CPNI (Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure) methodologies.
The RMADS project is the latest in a roadmap of compliance standards held by Telehouse Europe's London facilities which, among others, includes ISO27001 (Security), PCI-DSS (Payment Information) and BS22301-2:2007 (Business Continuity) accreditations. Full documentation and support is now available to all Telehouse customers, including both Managed Service Providers and the Public Sector for use in their compliance programmes.
