Swan Group, a valued customer of Coms, recently invited employees of our Brentwood office to join them in a rounders tournament to raise money for Swan Foundation, a charity who work in partnership with businesses to address the challenges of regeneration in socially and economically excluded areas.
The tournament day at Sun Corner, Billericay, arrived on 12th September with anticipation running high within team COMetS. Weather conditions were looking good, with plenty of cake and refreshments on hand to keep the team well fuelled and energised. The afternoon consisted of a knock out tournament with teams made up from a variety of Swan's departments but the tournament final was between "The COMetS" and "Development destroyers". A good fight was put up by the Destroyers but it was team COMetS that rose to victory in the end, winning the tournament!
Sales Director Matt Donaldson at Coms was ecstatic with his teams' win, "I'm so proud of the team for managing to win the tournament. It has been great to be a part of the day and help raise money for a great cause. We would like to thank the Swan Group for the invitation, and look forward to defending our title next year!"
The afternoon raised £525 for the foundation, a fantastic result and a winning victory for Coms.
