Ron Mock, President and CEO of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Teachers') today announced that Neil Petroff, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer is retiring, effective June 1.

"Neil has worked in various areas of the Investment Division and taken on progressively senior level positions leading up to his current role as EVP and Chief Investment Officer. An internal and external search will be undertaken for a successor.
The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada. It will announce its 2014 annual rate of results tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31.
