STAMFORD, Conn. and LUCCA, Italy, April 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Twenty sessions covering topics such as modeling and scenario planning, analytics, and narrative reporting approved by NASBA for continuing professional education credits
Tagetik, a visionary leader in global performance management software solutions, announced today that 20 sessions at the company's upcoming user conference, Tagetik in Touch, have been approved by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) for continuing professional education (CPE) credit. The annual global conference will be held at the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans from April 24 - 27.
In most states, continuing education is required of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in order to maintain professional competence and provide quality services. This is the first Tagetik global conference to be held in the United States and to be approved for CPE credit.
"We are very pleased that so many of our conference sessions meet NASBA's requirements for continuing education credit. This is a testament to the high quality of our agenda," said Mark Macaluso, vice president of professional services for Tagetik.
"We're also delighted that our customers get an extra bonus from attending. In addition to taking advantage of the many product education and networking opportunities, they can also earn CPE credits at no extra cost to them or their companies."
Following are representative topics covered in CPE-eligible sessions:
- The art of HR planning
- Innovative calculations
- How to build an end-to-end planning solution
- Reporting optimization
- Complex forecasting
- CAPEX and initiative planning
- Speeding up the close cycle
Overall, the conference agenda encompasses 40 sessions covering topics critical to modern finance, as well as product roadmap details, the direction of the CPM market, and enterprise cloud technology.
