The small cap markets were a sea of red in trading today as stocks moved lower across the board.  The overall markets were higher but as micro caps pulled back after a strong weeks trading it was a negative day for the over the counter stocks.

Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) had a positive day trading with shares closing higher by 3.5% in a heavily traded day for the stock.  After pushing shares down to a recent low the company is coming off the back of positive news which is giving the stock a lift.  After closing at $58.15 in trading to close yesterday we are looking for shares to get through the $62.00 level of resistance to really make a push higher towards the 52 week level.

The Alkaline Water Company (OTCMKTS: WTER) had a big down day to close trading as many of the small cap stocks traded lower in a bad day for the markets.  Alkaline had been on a strong run higher before shares traded lower by 60% on more than $2.5 million traded.  It looks like we could have seen a short position come into the stock, or heavy selling meaning that we could see a spike higher in today's session.

Terra Tech Corp (OTCMKTS: TRTC) was another stock that had been on a solid run that pulled back in trading on Tuesday.  Terra Tech which is still very close to its 52 week high actually held up better than most today especially considering the recent run the stock has been on.

Minerco Resources (OTCMKTS: MINE) witnessed a double digit down day in very heavy trading in the stock as we witnessed almost $9 million exchange hands.  After falling 30% on the day there are sure to be traders sniffing around this one on any pullback again after a recent impressive run in trading in the stock.

Solar Wind Energy Tower (OTCMKT: SWET) was one of the shining lights in over the counter trading in yesterday's busy session.  Shares traded higher by an amazing 108% as the hype really started to grow in the stock. Solar Wind did break through a new yearly high intra-day before closing slightly below that price.  Considering the closing price was close to the high and resistance point it could be that shares push through and gap up on the open in today's trading.
