"Sticking Together for Celebration" -- A Design of Designers Theme Party at ACF Furniture in Beijing

SHANGHAI, Jan. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 18, ACF Furniture, leader of Beijing Design Group for the 2013 Design of Designers event, held a special party in the ACF Showroom, located in Beijing's 798 art district. The themes were Chinese Spring Festival and sticking together for Design of Designers.

Designers from the fields of architecture, interior design and product design enjoyed a happy get-together and celebrated the new Year of the Snake in advance.

On the event day, ACF founder Mr. Wang Xin, Mr. Song Tao of Zizao Society and Mr. Liu Feng of Liangshe Furniture respectively reviewed the exhibition themed as "Beijing Living Room", with the participation of 13 original design brands and individual designers from the 2012 Design of Designers event. Also acting as the long-time exhibitor of Furniture China Expo, Mr. Wang made a joint rally with Mr. Li Yuanlong, representative from Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo Int'l Exhibition Co., Ltd. (the organizer of Furniture China Expo) for the 2013 Design of Designers event, inviting more of the designers present to be a part of the exhibition. With all of these excellent designers' participation, they intend to create an original-themed exhibition of Beijing design with richer contents in September this year. They are determined to heat up the trend of design and originality, and to win a larger market share and business opportunities, as well as to earn more and more attention and praise.

That day, ACF's showroom became a lively and cozy place, where old friends caught up and new ones met each other. Designers from different domains and followers of the design industry became more acquainted with each other, creating calligraphy and handicrafts, making Chinese dumplings and trying snacks, tasting wines and watching movies. They celebrated the Spring Festival with a mixture of traditional and fashionable elements. It is this kind of familial companionship that makes designers in Beijing stick together more closely.

As a part of the 19th Furniture China Expo, the 2013 Design of Designers will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center from September 11 to 15. There will be four major themed exhibition zones from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, in addition to many independent designers and design firms on the scene. There, design enthusiasts in China and around the world are guaranteed to enjoy a visual feast.
