LONDON, November 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Senior figures from Facebook, Microsoft, Google and Virgin are set to be among the key speakers at the Innovate Israel conference in London, December 4th 2013, sponsored by the world renowned residence and hotel developers 'W', Orange Telecom, EasyJet, BT, Locate Jersey, Jersey Telecom, Mishcon, Mazars and Yigal Arnon.
The conference, now in its second year, is the largest Israel business conference in Europe, showcasing the latest technologies and start-ups to come out of Israel, in the presence of the highest level of corporate partners and potential investors. It will be a one day event with over 650 attendees and a delegation of 50 Israeli growth stage technology companies looking to expand into the UK and European markets, as well as finding access to capital. The event will include a selection of panel sessions, round table meetings, 1-2-1 meetings, fireside discussions, networking and keynote speeches.
Co-chaired by Marc Worth and Yossi Vardi, Innovate Israel 2013 will be produced by global publishing and events company, AcreWhite in partnership with the UK Israel Business and several trade organisations.
The focus of this year's event will be on gaming, publishing, e-commerce advertising and video innovations. In addition, there will be sessions on advertising, e-gaming and a presentation on the 'next best start-ups to watch'.
Co-chair and serial entrepreneur, Yossi Vardi, commented, "Israel produces the highest rate of start-ups and new technologies per capita than any other country. In a country with a population of less than 8 million, it is logical that any company with aspirations of growth must look to expand abroad."
Daniel Seal, CEO of AcreWhite said, "With annual trade between Israel and UK in excess of £3.8 billion, Israel remains the UK's largest individual trading partner in the Near East and North Africa. The UK provides not only an accessible market for growth, but also an opportune gateway into Europe, hence it is an ideal market for Israeli companies seeking strategic expansion. We are delighted to welcome Orange, BT and JT especially, as indication of the serious consideration being given to Israeli technologies by these major corporations."
