SSM Continues to Invest in the City of Nacka

SSM Holding AB (publ), the leading operator within residential development in the Stockholm region is continuing to expand its business by acquiring a new project in the attractively-located Elverkshuset in the city of Nacka. The project aims to develop about 350 apartments through a new joint venture between the property owner LIBU Invest and SSM. Construction is expected to start in 2019 with occupancy in 2021.

SSM and LIBU Invest have initiated a collaboration by forming a joint venture to manage a project that aims to develop 350 apartments, mainly units for one and two person households, in the attractively-located Elverkshuset near Nacka Town Hall. The start of construction is planned for 2019, with occupancy in 2021. The area around Elverkshuset will be developed into a conurbation that will be part of the city of Nacka. Already today, there is public transportation by commuter train and bus and in the future, the area will also be served by the planned expansion of the subway.

-  SSM is focusing on a group of customers who are looking for functional and space-efficient apartments in central locations with good transportation links. The city of Nacka meets all three criteria, which is why the area is highly interesting for us to expand in, says Mattias Roos, CEO of SSM.
