LYON, France, July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
SPORTFIVE, the Lagardère Unlimited Company, today announced that Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyonnais and 24option.com have signed a two-year deal. Secured by a club in the French Ligue, this is the first deal of that kind - 24option.com is now the exclusive trading partner of Olympique Lyonnais and, on July 18th, appeared for the very first time on the jersey during a game against AC Milan.
24option.com was established as a way for binary options traders to easily invest in binary options on a platform that is easy to use and easy to understand. The broker invests in technology, human resources and the latest in educational tools - from VODs to webinars - in order to help their clients experience trading with confidence in a safe and secure environment.
Leaning on a sponsorship strategy to enhance visibility and stay commercially competitive, 24option.com chose Olympique Lyonnais to reach out to the French market. OL was facing AC Milan for a friendly game on July 18th at Stade de Gerland, and it was the perfect opportunity to display the 24option.com logo on the jersey' sleeve for the very first time.
From August 8th 2015, the 24option.com brand will appear inside the OL stadium with an important LED panel campaign during every home game of the season, as well as being clearly displayed on the club's communication materials. Keeping a close eye on the Grand Stade grand opening in 2016, 24option.com is delighted to be part of an important moment of the club's history. As Emma Morris, Director of Partnerships at 24option explains, "We are proud to achieve another milestone in our short history by partnering with a top club like Olympique Lyonnais. The club offers us a unique platform to target the French market and we're anticipating a successful partnership."
As part of this new collaboration, SPORTFIVE, the exclusive marketing agency of the club will provide extensive support and sponsorship expertise. "24option.com is one of the most ambitious sports business stakeholders in Europe and a real leader in the online trading market. They share the same ambitions as Olympique Lyonnais, and we are delighted they chose us to be partnered with. With the season not far away now, this deal will provide new experiences to fans at Gerland stadium first and, of course, in our state-of-the-art brand new stadium in 2016," said Jean-Michel Aulas, Olympique Lyonnais President.
Xavier Oddone, Head of Sales of SPORTFIVE France, said, "We are proud to contribute to this partnership. SPORTFIVE is constantly in contact with many industries and we are very honored to sign the very first online trading deal in French sport. This agreement represents an important milestone for SPORTFIVE and the sales team which keeps striving to implement new opportunities."
