Private network will support security operations and future innovation

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Boldyn Networks (Boldyn) has been selected to design, build, and operate a high-performance private wireless network at Southern California's Ontario International Airport (ONT), recently ranked by JD Power as the second most popular medium-sized airport in North America¹.

This significant investment in ONT's digital infrastructure provides the airport with a dedicated, secure private wireless network that offers greater visibility and resiliency than public networks. By utilizing a segmented architecture, dedicated spectrum, and enterprise-level controls, the airport is establishing a foundation for mission-critical applications that will scale alongside its rapid passenger and cargo growth.

This strategic deployment comes as ONT has seen annual passenger volumes surpass 7 million, making it Southern California's fastest-growing airport over the past 10 years.

Initially supporting physical security and perimeter intrusion detection, and expanding to advanced camera coverage across the site, Boldyn's mobile private network combines 4G/5G access, on-premise edge compute and centralized private cloud management. Boldyn's 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) ensure reliable performance for the airport's most critical security operations.
