Sotal has Successfully Completed Google Widevine DRM and Adaptive Streaming Project

Sotal has announced the completion of Google Widevine Digital Rights Management (DRM) and adaptive streaming integration for Oll.tv video service (provided by Digital Screens LLC, Ukraine). This project was unique in terms of complexity, multiplatform scope and the 100% remote installation and configuration.

The integration of Google Widevine allows the operator to improve control over video distribution and usage. It also supports various marketing scenarios, to create tailored content sales packages and to increase the availability of the service for "multiscreen" customers through industry approved formats of video delivery over volatile public internet channels.
