SOS Hydration Makes A Splash, Appoints FIJI Water Co-Founder Carlson as Chairman of the Board
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SOS Hydration Inc, the award winning hydration drink mix that's formulated by a doctor and two former pro athletes, announced today former FIJI Water co-founder Doug Carlson, will join the board as its Chairman.

Appointing Carlson as Chairman will help capitalize on SOS Hydration's unique market opportunity and act as a pivot for raising SOS Hydration's profile within the investment community.

Carlson co-founded FIJI Water, LLC in 1996 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1996 to 2005.
- Under Doug's leadership, FIJI Water grew to the second highest selling imported bottled water brand in the US. During his tenure, the brand was also launched in 12 other countries, achieved # 1 brand in On Premise Channel in US and developed a distributer network of 300 distributors.
- Prior to co-founding FIJI Water, from 1989 to 1996, Doug served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for The Aspen Skiing Company where he was responsible for all finance/accounting, information technology, personnel and risk management matters.
- From 1984 to 1989, Doug served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aspen's largest and leading hospitality company, The Aspen Club Companies.
- Carlson is currently EVP and CMO at Nook Media, since October 2013. He graduated from Western State College in 1981 with a dual degree in accounting and economics.
