Leading Software Testing provider, Sogeti UK, is proud to reveal that two notable employees have been chosen as Winner and Finalist in two categories at the first ever European Software Testing Awards (TESTA) ceremony.

Sogeti was named as Winner in the 'Testing Innovator of the Year' category and Finalist in the 'Young Tester of the Year' category at the awards, which was held at the prestigious London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, on Wednesday 20th November.
Winner of the 'Testing Innovator of the Year' award was Sogeti's Solutions Director for Transformation, Barry Weston. Barry was nominated for his instrumental work with key clients in the delivery of Process Improvement, Shift Left, and Test Transformation - an outcome-focused model based on KPI's and SLA's that revolutionises the delivery of testing.
William Gibbons, finalist in the 'Young Tester of the Year' category, is a recent member of Sogeti's Testing graduate scheme. Will was nominated for his outstanding commitment and development in testing, and going above and beyond expectations to surpass the abilities of even some his more experienced colleagues. Will has forged strong relationships with clients and worked way above his pay grade from day one.
Organised by the publishers of industry journal Test Magazine, The European Software Testing Awardsare the first of their kind designed to celebrate and promote excellence, best practice and innovation exclusively within the software testing and QA community.
Hosted by the instantly recognizable voice of XFactor and Britain's Got Talent, Peter Dickson, a sold out crowd of Testing professionals and Thought Leaders were treated to an exciting awards presentation covering 22 categories,and celebrating the talents of both individuals and teams across a number of industries. Sogeti also sponsored the category of Best Test Automation project - won by Brickendon Consulting- and Sogeti UK's VP of Testing, Darren Coupland, presented the award on the night.
