- Sogeti UK selected as finalist in four categories at the second European Software Testing Awards
After months of anticipation, leading Software Testing provider, Sogeti UK, is proud to announce that a number of its teams and individuals have been shortlisted in the following four categories at the 2014 European Software Testing (TESTA) Awards: Testing Manager of the Year, Testing Innovator of the Year, Best Overall Testing Project - Gaming, and Graduate Tester of the Year.

Sogeti aims to build on its victory at last year's TESTA ceremony, when Delivery Director for Transformation, Barry Weston was crowned 'Testing Innovator of the Year' for his instrumental work with key clients in the delivery of Process Improvement, Shift Left, and Test Transformation - an outcome-focused model based on KPI's and SLA that revolutionises the delivery of testing. In addition to this win, Sogeti Graduate William Gibbons was also one of only two Finalists in the 'Young Tester of the Year' category.
Organised by the publishers of industry journal Test Magazine and established in 2013, The European Software Testing Awards are the first of their kind designed to celebrate and promote excellence, best practice and innovation exclusively within the software testing and QA community.
Sogeti faces competition from both end user organisations and other testing providers at the awards evening, which is due to take place at Old Billingsgate on 18th November. The event will be hosted by top UK comedian, Hal Cruttenden, and winners will be announced across 19 strongly-contended categories. In addition to its four Finalists, Sogeti is also proud to sponsor the category of 'Green Testing Team of the Year' and we look forward to presenting the award to the winner on the night.
