invstr, the investment game making it easier to understand the financial markets, launches the Student Investing Championship, an international competition to help thousands of students learn about the financial markets.
More than 200 of the leading business schools and universities around the world have been invited to join the competition, which challenges university students to test their skills in a series of three online app competitions throughout the academic year.
Through the invstr app, students will be able to choose from more than 1,500 stocks, currencies, commodities and bonds in a bid to become investing champions.
Young investors who make the most virtual profit in each of the four-week tournaments will win prizes designed to boost their financial careers, including cash rewards, internships and invitations to career networking days hosted by invstr in major US universities in the upcoming year.
The first competition begins on November 21, with subsequent tournaments starting mid-January and mid-March.
"We created invstr to help everyone learn more about investing and enable our users to take charge of their financial future," said Kerim Derhalli, CEO and founder of invstr. "This new championship is all about creating a fun and social way to get more students interested in their finances and the markets."
The best financial minds will also be invited to join the invstr analyst team, helping to empower all inspiring investors with financial information and skills which will give them greater financial awareness and the confidence to manage their own investments.
Through this championship, invstr pursues its goal to make investing fun and accessible to aspiring investors. invstr is already in 135 countries, providing an easy, free way to gain a better understanding of the financial markets.
