STOCKHOLM, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Smart Media Solutions in collaboration with its parent company Draper, Inc., is launching a new trim solution for one of the most revolutionary video wall displays on the market.
When Barco introduced UniSee® in 2017, they transformed the LCD video wall experience. UniSee provided unmatched installation ease and uniformity with a stunning image. Barco's mounting system allowed for the thinnest possible bezel whilst protecting the glass, but one thing was still missing.
"The challenge was to make a trim kit that could easily be installed after the Barco Unisee video wall is in place, allowed easy access for service, modular design so it could be adapted to different video wall configurations and at the same time should have a great design. If we even did it? The team actually came up with an even better solution than expected." says Daniel Salmonsson, SMS Product Development Manager. "It's a super smart solution and a great product!"
SmartTrim™ , is the patent pending solution developed by SMS Smart Media Solutions. It provides an elegant trim yet easy to install remedy, for a wide range of standard and custom UniSee configurations.
SmartTrim™ attaches quickly and simply to the existing UniSee X mounts, clicking into place with adjustable magnets. Available in variety of custom powder coat colors, wood veneers, and laminates allowing the trim to match almost any installation design and give a great tailored appearance.
