Having won over the largest luxury hotels in Europe, SKINJAY has raised €3.5 million and has begun its conquest of individual consumers, both in France and abroad. Positioned in the well-being sector, this French start-up founded by Nicolas Pasquier offers a product based on an exclusive technology which makes it possible to mix capsules containing 100% natural essential oils into shower water.

In its initial marketing phase, the start-up saw interest from luxury and ultra-luxury "palace" ranked hotels, in France and in Europe (Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Monaco, Madrid, Prague, etc.)

A member of the Cosmetic Valley division (the leading global cosmetics resource centre pooling expertise, research and training) and of the Federation of Beauty Firms (FEBEA), SKINJAY has been accompanied by leading financial and institutional partners since its launch.

Supported by public and private investors, SKINJAY raised €3.5 million in 2017 
At the start of the year, SKINJAY undertook a further round of investment with Seventure, one of Europe's leading venture capital firms, specialising in digital technologies.  The investment, amounting to €3.5 million, will enable a significant increase in growth, particularly in terms of marketing its products to individual consumers.

A highly-ambitious B2C and international growth strategy   
SKINJAY has just launched its website, http://www.skinjay.com/en/, a totally new online store fully dedicated to its consumer offering. Its products are also on sale in the Parisian department store BHV Marais.

Simultaneously, SKINJAY is aiming to expand internationally and increase its sales in the B2B and B2C sectors with the opening of several subsidiaries in the form of joint ventures in Asia, the Middle East and North America.

Innovation and production: ambitious targets 
With 20% of its turnover allocated to R&D and 2 new patents registered since the start of the year, SKINJAY continues to innovate so as to offer new well-being experiences to home-based consumers.

The company has also invested in a new production chain capable of ensuring a high throughput rate of over 8 million products per year.

€5 million R&D investment since the company was founded.
