Global Digital Services PLC (ECM:STC), owner of SiteTalk.com, one of the world's fastest growing Social Networking Platforms with more than 15,000,000 Members, is pleased to announce improvements to the design and functionality of SiteTalk, and a new mobile app.
As SiteTalk's membership has grown from hundreds of thousands to millions, we have had many opportunities for dialogue with our Members about what they feel works and does not work about our social networking platform. One of the things Members have told us is that they like new - and we've been hard at work on new for most of the past year: new games, SiteTalk Music, new Star Club rewards, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of new SiteTalk Members we have signed up.
Another thing SiteTalkers have told us is where they would like to see changes to the look and feel of the SiteTalk social networking platform. We are pleased to announce that work is now underway on SiteTalk 4.0, which will include improved functionality for many of SiteTalk's most utilized features.
To start with, we are revamping SiteTalk's design with a sleek new look that we believe will appeal to new users globally. We're working on a better space configuration, smaller icons and a fresh new design.
One of the comments we have heard most often from Members is that, in their ideal social media experience, they do like notifications, and would like to see better use of notifications. Whether they are being notified about "Likes", new friend requests, or being tagged in a photo, Members want to know what's happening in their SiteTalk universe.
Along with more efficient notifications, we're also working on improving our system of site-wide tagging. Members want to be able to include other Members in their posts and status updates simply and automatically. They want to be able to tag photos quickly and effectively. We're working on both aspects of the user experience, so expect to see more on that in the coming weeks.
Many of our Members say they continue to use and appreciate Facebook, but love the added functionality of SiteTalk. We're adding more interactivity between the two sites, so that SiteTalkers can post directly to their Facebook profile from their SiteTalk profile. This will also have the added benefit of giving SiteTalk more exposure to Facebook users, and increased SiteTalk visibility everywhere is one of our big goals moving forward.
Similarly, we are completely revamping the SiteTalk app for mobile devices and this, too, will add to our continued growth. Nothing says community like walking into a room and seeing a lot of familiar, friendly faces. We'll be adding new functionality to the app, to allow Members to quickly and easily invite their friends and contacts to SiteTalk. By downloading the new app, Members will receive reward credits in the Star Club system. Members will also receive additional reward credits for inviting their friends and contacts. We expect these improvements to add additional viral momentum to the growth in SiteTalk Membership.
