Sinofaith President Speaks at Intellectual Property Crime Conference ahead of Company's Visit to Interpol General Assembly
SHANGHAI, Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- One of China's premier intellectual property protection firms, Sinofaith, presented a promising approach to facilitate identification, disruption and dismantling of transnational organized networks behind the intellectual property crimes, at the Regional Intellectual Property Crime Conference in Central Asia convened from July 6-7 in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu province.
Sinofaith President Kevin Sun and vice president Joann Chan spoke at the conference with Chan describing the growing importance of online markets and their IP problems. She explained that Sinofaith provides "one-stop" IP protection and management services for three main types of IP: trademark rights, patent rights and copyrights. Overall, Sinofaith has provided "one-stop" IP protection solutions for over 200 brands both domestic and global.
One of the key areas of Sun's speech was helping national intellectual property institutions continue to strengthen capacity-building and providing intellectual property users with convenient and efficient, finely-honed services to help them make better use of the intellectual property system.
He also highlighted that in recent years, Sinofaith has actively explored, practiced and innovated in the traditional intellectual property services and protection area, using the "Administrative-Criminal law enforcement information sharing platform", the IPRSEE Platform (the Internet intellectual property rights monitoring platform), and the IPRTXT Platform (copyright monitoring and trading system).
China recognizes that intellectual property is an important resource for national economic development. So it is acting to help the success of its "the Belt and Road" initiative by taking the lead in enhancing the protection of intellectual property (IP) and intellectual property rights (IPR). Several International conferences on IP protection have been held during the summer, bringing attention to China's growing role in this crucial field.
As the largest professional intellectual property services provider in China, Sinofaith has maintained close cooperation with many well-known intellectual property organizations at home and abroad including Interpol and has played a positive role in some major international cooperation projects.
Sinofaith will attend Interpol's (International Criminal Police Organization) upcoming general assembly in September, which will be held in London.
