Securing Ports Across Sea, Land and Air: Raythink to Showcase Integrated Security Solutions at ISAF 2026
ISTANBUL, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ports are becoming increasingly complex security environments, where potential threats can emerge from the sea, land, or air. At ISAF 2026, Raythink | Raytron Industrial is showcasing an integrated sea-land-air security approach for port environments, demonstrating how thermal imaging, visible-light imaging, intelligent tracking, and low-altitude detection can work together to provide comprehensive situational awareness.
Monitoring Surrounding Waters
For maritime areas surrounding a port, wide-area monitoring and rapid target tracking are essential for identifying vessels and monitoring restricted areas. Raythink's SI4 Panoramic Search and Tracking System combines panoramic thermal imaging with a dual-spectrum PTZ camera. Once the panoramic camera detects a target, the PTZ camera can automatically lock onto and track it, enabling security teams to gain a comprehensive view of surrounding waters while maintaining focused tracking of targets of interest.
Securing Port Facilities
On land, Raythink's SilentW-U Series panoramic cameras can work together with multispectral PTZ cameras such as the PM7 Series to deliver a panoramic search-and-tracking capability similar to that of the SI4, while extending detection over longer distances. Depending on the configuration and conditions, the system can detect vessels at distances of up to 30 km and personnel at approximately 7 km.
This combination supports monitoring of port perimeters, terminals, storage yards, restricted areas, and other critical infrastructure. Thermal imaging adds another layer of detection for nighttime operations and areas affected by strong artificial lighting or backlighting, while also helping identify abnormal heat and potential hotspots for early fire detection.
Extending Awareness to Low-Altitude Airspace
Low-altitude airspace is another consideration for modern port security. Raythink's intelligent detection and tracking capabilities can help identify and track drones entering restricted areas, giving security teams greater awareness of activity above critical facilities.
Beyond security monitoring, thermal imaging can also support early fire detection and thermal safety monitoring, helping identify abnormal heat sources and potential hotspots around terminals, storage facilities, and other critical infrastructure.
Meet Raythink at ISAF 2026
By connecting vessel monitoring, land-based security, low-altitude awareness, and thermal safety detection, Raythink is demonstrating a comprehensive approach to securing modern port environments.
Visit Raythink at Booth 4C-37, October 7–10, in Istanbul, to explore how thermal intelligence can strengthen port security across sea, land, and air.
