Rune Gustafson, well known in Europe for his considerable experience advising international brands, has been named President of EMEA operations for Prophet (www.prophet.com), a strategic brand and marketing consultancy. He will be based in the firm's London office.
Since 2009, Rune has headed his own consultancy, Rebus Partnership, specialising in helping company boards better manage their brands. Previously, he was chief executive officer of Interbrand U.K., including when the firm was named Agency of the Year by the U.K.'s prestigious Marketing Magazine. Rune's work has covered the spectrum of brand and marketing specialties and spanned over 30 countries.

Prior to joining Interbrand, he was a Senior Partner at Lippincott. He also served as the Main Board Director at Fitch plc and Managing Director at 20/20. Rune began his career as a marketer for Heinz and Cinzano.
Rune also serves as a non-executive director of the National Gallery and the digital agency Graphic Alliance, and is also Chairman of Miller Harris, a luxury fragrance business.
