Romonet, a leading provider of data center predictive modelling tools has appointed Michael (Mike) J. Fister as a non-executive director and board member. His appointment is effective immediately.
Fister, who also serves as Chief Executive Officer and board member of Enecsys, brings over 30 years of executive management experience in leading technology companies, including five years leading Cadence Design Systems Inc where he was responsible for growing the company from $1.1Bn to $1.6Bn in annual revenue whilst substantially improving profitability. Prior to that, he spent over twenty years at Intel Corporation where he served as senior vice president of the Enterprise Platforms Group delivering billions of dollars of revenues and high margin profitability to Intel. Fister was also responsible for overseeing the design and development of many of the most successful microprocessor lines at Intel, most notably the now industry standard Intel® Xeon™ processor line. Fister is also a member of the board of directors at SynapSense Corporation since 2006.
