Rivel Research Group Brings Intelligence Council to Germany
LONDON, June 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Rivel Research Group will launch the Intelligence Council in Germany beginning June 2013, the company announced today. The program is unique in its inclusion of the buy-side perspective regarding best-in-class investor relations practices. The Intelligence Council was created in 2009 in an effort to gain feedback from the United States buy-side community, but has since expanded to include a global perspective, with buy-side professionals in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Asia and Australia. These additions now offer members insight that is a more balanced, international view on investor relations best practices.
As part of the launch strategy, Rivel Research Group has entered into a partnership with the IR Club to offer the Club's IRO members the opportunity to join the Intelligence Council at a discounted rate.
Patrick Kiss, Founder of the IR Club said: "Investor relations professionals operate in a global environment. With the know-how of the Rivel Intelligence Council, IR activities can be precisely aligned to the expectations of investors worldwide. In addition, the research provides an orientation to international IR best practices. In this way the Intelligence Council supports the objectives of the IR club perfectly."
The Intelligence Council is a vital resource for IR professionals seeking to improve all aspects of communication with the global investment community. Rivel conducts comprehensive research into 12 pertinent topics selected by the Intelligence Council membership yearly through in-depth interviews among a representative sample of the global buy-side (US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia). The program includes ongoing best practices reports as well as access to Rivel's Perspectives series, which uncovers on a quarterly basis how buy-side audiences make decisions and what their expectations are for the public markets going forward.
"The Intelligence Council's expanding presence throughout Europe will provide IR executives in the region with an unprecedented set of knowledge that can be used to substantially improve dialogue with its main investment constituency," said Rivel Research Group President Brian Rivel. "As the Intelligence Council continues to include more major global markets, IR professionals participating in the program will gain a substantial advantage through its strategic insight into the expectations of the international investment community. Rivel is excited to work with the IR Club in this joint mission to promote best practice in investor relations."
The Intelligence Council's scope of research has also expanded to include the perspective of the Investor Relations Officer by building a global IR thought leadership panel. The first set of research from this addition to the Intelligence Council, released this month, addresses viewpoints of targeting, earnings calls and PowerPoint presentations from nearly 1,000 IROs globally. The panel allows Intelligence Council members a look into how their peers approach several facets of the role of IR in enhancing the value of their respective companies.
In addition, members have unlimited access to the Concierge service, an interactive experience where dedicated Rivel staff provide personalized assistance by researching answers to member questions quickly and efficiently, all based on the data in the Intelligence Council database.
The Intelligence Council's newest feature is the option for members to obtain customized perception work through company-specific studies whose framework is designed in tandem with the Rivel team to address the topics considered most important to the company and its investment constituency. A fixed number of interviews per year on a shorter, 10-question line of inquiry can be used however the member deems appropriate.
