Renato Angelini is the new Managing Director of Aegate Italy, a leading provider of medicines authentication services which has been operating in Italy and throughout Europe with the largest digital platform in the world for the real time control of medicinal products.

Angelini aims to further develop the company and its innovative services in Italy. The Aegate system is already integrated in 90% of Italian pharmacies and enables a direct, interactive communication between the pharmacist and pharmaceutical companies. Aegate ensures the authenticity of drugs, blocks withdrawn or expired medicines and transmits information and messages via the pharmacist to provide a better service to the patient.
Angelini brings sales and market research experience from Artsana Chicco SpA, the MET Group, Medipragma and Dendrite. More recently, he was Head of the Customer information Business Unit at Cegedim Italy.
