STOKE-ON-TRENT, England, March 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
A flourishing holiday company is looking to increase customer numbers by more than a quarter in 2013 after a record-breaking 2012.
Solmar Villas helped 20000 holidaymakers find accommodation last year, making it the best in the company's 19-year history.
Ambitious managing director Julie Blake is looking to increase that to 26000 in 2013, and has invested heavily in advertising, the workforce, and the company's portfolio to help hit her target.
Following the company's growth, the workforce has been restructured, and the internal sales team expanded by 50%.
A dedicated customer service team was created, along with a commercial team, with a new contracts manager coming on board.
The company is now opening seven days a week to cater for the increased demand, and has added another 60 villas to their website http://www.solmarvillas.com, which now provides options across most of Southern Europe, stretching from the Canary Islands to Cyprus.
Julie Blake said: "Our success over the past few years shows how much the market has changed.
"More people are working to a tight budget, so they are booking large villas and sharing the cost with family and friends. It works out much cheaper per person than booking a package holiday in a hotel.
"They are also looking to stay close to home, due to the cost of flights.
"Our site enables them to tick both of those boxes - our villas can sleep between two and 20 people, and the majority of them are closer than a three hour flight away."
Solmar Villas is a family-run business in the Midlands. They are ATOL and ABTA accredited and specialise in providingholiday accommodation and ancillary services such as car hire and insurance.
