In 2012, highly regarded German "auto motor und sport" magazine surveyed its readers for the seventh time about the best brands of automotive accessories. Recaro was awarded "Best Brand" in the "Seats/Sports Seats" class, achieving one of the highest percentages of all product categories. This was the seventh year that "auto motor und sport" conducted the survey. The Recaro brand has been awarded top recognition in the survey each year it's been conducted.

In 2012, Recaro, a leading automotive seating manufacturer achieved an 88.7 percent share of the votes. With this top score in the readers' poll, the company was not only the winner in the "Seats/Sport Seats" area, but also achieved the second highest vote across all product categories. This achievement is symbolic of the high level of awareness of the Recaro brand and products.
