LONDON, May 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Over the past two years, consultants from qedis have taken on extreme athletic challenges to raise funds for their charity of the year. In Summer 2010, it was a 54 mile double-marathon from Maidenhead to London; in 2011 a group of qedites cycled 300km from Paris, the office location of their partner, Oresys, all the way to the qedis office in London. But this year the firm are really going the extra mile, pledging to maintain 24-hours of continuous exercise across the globe!

On 18th-19th May, Richmond Rugby Club will see 12 runners, 3 dancers, 2 ping-pong players, and a rower all exercising non-stop for 24 hours! For the runners that's over 100 miles - 4 marathons back to back!
Additionally, other qedites and members of the Highland Worldwide consulting network will be getting involved through running, walking, hiking, cycling, and horse-riding at various points during the 24 hours, both at the rugby club and abroad. Throughout the event, qedis will be providing updates on Facebook and Twitter, using #CQGG (Challenge Q Goes Global).
The London charity that qedis is raising money for, Calibre Minds, was selected by the consultants themselves, and aims to increase the quality of life and opportunities for young people from all backgrounds, through carefully planned activities and workshops.
ChallengeQ will close in London's Richmond Rugby Club at noon on Saturday 19th May, with a finish line fete and party for everyone taking part!
