READING, England, Dec. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of ACL's strategic expansion into global markets, the company today announced that Promens, a leading global plastics manufacturer, headquartered in Iceland with factories in 19 countries around the world, has selected ACL™ GRC, which will enable an end-to-end, integrated, and systematic approach to audits across the business.

Operating in Europe, North America, Asia, and Africa, Promens manufactures a wide range of products, including packaging for food, cosmetics, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Given the wide range of products provided by the company, the span of industries served, and its global footprint, the audit team was in need of a simple and straightforward system to streamline the audit process.

Prior to choosing ACL's cloud-based governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) software, the team was working with various processing documents and spreadsheets, which created a high volume of unnecessary manual efforts.
