Now the time has come. CoLiDo, a global 3D printer brand, has launched the home use 3D printer CoLiDo Compact, which strictly follows the 3S rules:

  • Small - The printer is small and in cube form which fits well into most home environments. With CoLiDo's 3D printing technology, CoLiDo Compact delivers a high print quality even though it's small in size (10.9 x 12.5 x 13.5 inch). The printer has a relatively large build size (5.1 x 5.1 x 5.1 inch) which is sufficient for producing most toys and home use products.  
  • Safe - To ensure the safety of the printer, CoLiDo Compact's edges are specially made to reduce sharpness. The transparent case allows users to see clearly what is happening during operation. Doors are added to the front and the top of the printer to prevent accidental or improper touching of the print head, which is key for homes with small children. The non-heat build platform prevents users from getting burned. Low noise level, odor-less and the use of non-toxic filaments make CoLiDo Compact safe and harmless to everyone in the home.
  • Simple - Unlike many other 3D printers, CoLiDo Compact is Plug-and-Print so there is no need for calibration prior to using. The printer is controlled by the intuitive software REPETIER-HOST with pre-settings created by CoLiDo. Users can simply choose the desired setting and start the 3D printing, just like everyone knows what to do with 2D printers.

Not many 3D printers can achieve the 3S rules, but CoLiDo Compact can.
