LONDON, January 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Premier Inn has announced it is to open two new hotels and a restaurant development in Inverness, bringing a total of 98 new jobs to the local area. The brand new Premier Inn Inverness West hotel and Beefeater Grill will open on Glenurquhat Road on 23rd January 2012. A second hotel, Premier Inn Inverness Centre will also open on the same day, injecting a total £17.2 million investment into the local community.
Premier Inn Inverness West features 76 bedrooms, and lies on the outskirts of Inverness, just a five minute drive away from the town centre. The beautiful countryside of the Western Highlands, beaches and Loch Ness are all easily accessible by car, making hotels in inverness popular for weekend getaways.
The adjoining Loch Ness House Beefeater Grill will offer a warm, family-friendly pub restaurant environment with excellent value meal deals. The new Daytime Value Menu will feature main meals at affordable prices, including generous portions of fish and chips, sausage and mash and chilli con carne. A personalised steak experience also allows guests to create their own unique flavour sensation, with a range of delicious flavoured butters and seasonings, including garlic and pepper, BBQ, or for an extra kick, the chilli explosion.
The Inverness West site alone is bringing a £8.6 million investment into the community and creating 50 jobs across both the restaurant and hotel.
The Premier Inn Inverness Centre hotel is a 98 bedroom build overlooking the beautiful River Ness, investing a further £8.6 million into the local area. It is just a five minute walk away from the city centre, making it a great base for touring local attractions. The new build is creating 48 jobs.
Iain Lyons, Cluster General Manager for the Inverness area commented on the projects: "We are delighted to bring two new Premier Inns to Inverness and look forward to welcoming our guests to enjoy a night's stay with us. Inverness has so many beautiful landmarks to offer, and our hotels are perfectly situated for those wanting to see the sites. They are also ideal for business travellers visiting the city that are looking for good value accommodation that doesn't compromise on quality."
Each bedroom caters for up to two adults and two children (aged 15 and under) and includes an en-suite bathroom, a king size bed, remote control TV with Freeview, tea/coffee making facilities, and a spacious desk area with WiFi Internet access. The site will also offer the All You Can Eat 'Premier Breakfast.'
