Precise, the UK's leading media monitoring and evaluation provider, today announces enhancements to Chorus, the company's proprietary content acquisition and analysis engine.
Precise processes on average 20 million content items a month and the Chorus system enables Precise to perform a sophisticated linguistic analysis of this content. The new enhancements to Chorus have increased the company's ability to structure the data it captures by integrating a range of cloud based service additions with the Autonomy intelligent data operations layer (IDOL), a key component of Chorus. These service additions will extend Chorus's capabilities to cover entity identification, sentiment analysis and the automated categorisation of content.
The driver behind these developments is the rapid growth in the sources of content that are relevant to those charged with managing corporate and brand reputations. The new service additions will allow Precise to more rapidly and accurately identify and deliver content and insights to customers.
