She has served as Global Industry Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific where she was responsible for new business development and also standardization of the project approach, Global Contract implementation, and expansion of global enterprise services. Prior to that, she was Global Account Director for, VWR International, and also a Regional Manager there. Smith is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology.
