Pearson Partners With Shinyway International to Increase PTE Academic Reach Across China

Pearson is pleased to announce a new partnership between Pearson and Shinyway International, to expand the presence of Pearson's English Language Test (PTE Academic) in China.

The partnership will help promote the presence of PTE Academic in the Zhejiang Province and will establish Shinyway International as an authoritative PTE Academic training provider allowing test takers in Zhengjiang to receive PTE Academic preparation training. It will also allow students to register for PTE Academic quickly and easily.

PTE Academic was developed to fulfill the need for an English language proficiency test that more accurately measures the communication skills of international students in an academic environment. The test services streamline and enhance the admissions process and assist institutions in making faster and more informed admissions decisions. PTE Academic is recognized by renowned colleges, universities, training providers and professional associations across the English-speaking world. Globally, approximately 3,000 academic programs now accept PTE Academic scores.

On 16 September 2012, Shinyway International held their first press conference in the Zhengjiang Province. Jack Huang, Regional Director APAC, Language Testing Division of Pearson, and Ms Ma Yawei, President of Shinyway International, gave speeches to an audience of language test experts and senior consultants. They also shared their experience of how to prepare for PTE Academic and how to make overseas study and career plans with students and parents.
