Pan-Industry Research Survey Reveals Top 10 Priorities for CFOs, Shared Services and Outsourcing Leaders

Ahead of the 7th Shared Services and Outsourcing Exchange, the IQPC Exchange team has conducted a research survey among its network of CFOs, Heads of Shared Services and Outsourcing to discover their current top challenges and investment priorities. The research reveals that CFOs, Heads of Shared Services and Outsourcing are planning to concentrate their 2013 spending on creating new centres of excellence, benchmarking & metrics tools for their shared service centre and BPO activities and transactional processing services, with just under half of respondents also looking to invest in continuous improvement.

Research Director Ailsa Hardy told us that "senior shared services and BPO professionals have managed to drive efficiencies successfully for the past few years, but there is now more pressure than ever to drive further efficiencies. They are effectively victims of their own success, so are now searching for that next big efficiency win by sourcing out new services and solutions. Whether they look to create Global Business Services, complete a Finance Transformation or simply try to squeeze more from their relationships with their BPO provider, these senior leaders have a tough job on their hands through 2013 and 2014!"
