LONDON, July 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
PVH Corporation, owner of iconic lifestyle brands including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Speedo, has tasked Easynet with the revamp of its European IT backbone to support its plans for achieving long-term growth and increased financial returns. Easynet is designing, installing and managing a new 400-site European network integrating retail locations across 22 countries, for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger stores.
PVH Corporation has a revenue of $8,5 billion and would like to expand over the next few years. The Easynet European network will play a role in the backbone of the retail network, harmonising the businesses' IT systems, streamlining communication, aiding collaboration and reducing management complexities across the organisation. It will also help PVH with its plans to invest in its supply chain and roll out new software across the organisation.
Easynet has extensive experience in providing innovative solutions to the global retail industry, and this track record, along with its agility, helped it win the contract from PVH.
Bertil Holthuis, Managing Director Northern & Central Europe for Easynet said, "PVH is home to some of the world's most recognised and respected brands. It's a dynamic international business with IT at the heart of its plans for growth. This is a pivotal point in the business' history, and it's fantastic to be a part of it".
