Proven in thousands of production cloud deployments globally, the OnApp portal cuts cost through automation, improves customer experience through streamlined provisioning and management, and introduces new ways for vCloud Air Network partners to add value to their customers through new features and services.

"In 2014, VMware decided to partner with portal vendors to provide a comprehensive portal solution for VMware vCloud Director, VMware vCenter and VMware vCloud Air MSP cloud services. During the last six months, VMware has conducted a thorough process to validate portal partners against a comprehensive set of criteria," said Geoff Waters, vice president, Service Provider Channel, VMware.

"It's important to us to work with partners to bring a comprehensive set of functionality to our service provider ecosystem. OnApp, paired with VMware solutions, provides a feature-rich product offering which can address the needs of our mutual service provider partners, along with a single UI for all VMware cloud services," Waters added.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for VMware service providers to bring a powerful cloud management UI to their clients," said OnApp CEO, Ditlev Bredahl. "We've had VMware support for a few years now - but over the past 18 months we've devoted a lot of time and effort, working with the VMware team, to extend the benefits of OnApp to the whole VMware vCloud Air Network. We're very grateful to VMware for all their support and hard work, and we're excited that OnApp is now a recommended portal partner."
