NEW YORK, May 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Known mostly in the music world for her classical compositions, particularly "Un Dia Llegara" performed by Josh Groban, Oksana Grigorieva is switching gears and entering into a new realm of music. Diving head first into the dance scene, Grigorieva is releasing a new single titled "Party" out on iTunes today. The upbeat and fun track reflects on a happier time in her life. Grigorieva recently stated to press, "This is a celebration of a certain period in my life, a sort of metamorphosis if you like, into a happier place." Described as a "rare and unique talent," Grigorieva's single "Party" is off of her new EP titled Love to Dance out on June 4th. The EP will include several new original tracks as well as a remix.
Grigorieva is the executive producer of the album as well as one of the producers of the album. To give it an extra touch, she teamed up with Will Luke and John Berlin who have worked with various artists including Lionel Richie, Shakira, Florence and the Machine, Jim Jones, T-Pain, Jodeci, KC-I and JOJO, and Sean Paul.
A child prodigy in Russia, Oksana was instilled with a passion for music and started playing classical piano at age 4 and by the time she was 7 she was writing her own music and performing Bach, Mozart and Tchaikovsky in concerts. She composed the music for a few independent films, and also for stage productions with Gregory Peck and Vanessa and Lynn Redgrave. In 2006, Josh Groban recorded her song "Un Dia Llegara" for his album ''Awake." Oksana often returns to her native Russia to perform concerts for the children who are victims of Chernobyl. She is also a spokesperson for the Chernobyl Children's Project International.
