The Oud Essentials' story has been thousands of years in the making, deploying one of nature's most prized materials in a range of skincare products and accessories for the very first time, with the prospect and avowed intention of revolutionising an ultra-competitive industry.

Featured in every item of the Oud Essentials' range is pure Oud - sustainably sourced and ethically produced from Aquilaria plantations in Southeast Asia, and refined to perfection at the dedicated distillery owned and managed by one of Oud Essentials' associate companies. The Swiss-based company, headquartered in Geneva, will be launching soon in Asia, as part of its ambitious global expansion plans, and visitors to Oud Essentials' Asian hub and support office in Kuala Lumpur were treated to a series of informative and illuminating addresses from the company's key personnel.

Jean-Marc Dufat, Oud Essentials' CEO - Europe, an expert in galenic pharmacy and the visionary behind the brand, explained how the story had come about and how his fascination with Oud had facilitated the process, and Vienna Lee Wien Chian took all the visitors through the constituent elements and composition in the range of products that is set to 'change the face of skincare'.

"I've been thinking about doing something like this for quite a few years now," said Dufat, "and it's taken a lot of research and development. I'm very happy right now with where we are in terms of bringing Oud to a wider audience, and I know that our range of products will cause a 'disruption' in the market. That's what we want to do; change things; make people more aware and conscious of their surroundings as well as their personal health. We're catering to a new brand of consumers - those who understand our story and appreciate what we're trying to do."

All the visitors and guests at the three-day event pronounced themselves delighted with both the organisation and the hospitality accorded to them by the Oud Essentials team.
