Nuvion Partners with EbonyLife Place London to Support Africa's Creative Economy Across Borders

Partnership brings together African storytelling and global financial infrastructure following the opening of EbonyLife Place London in the UK.

LONDON, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nuvion, the AI-powered global bank for businesses and platforms, has announced a partnership with EbonyLife Place London, the new home for African and Black film, culture and creativity in the UK.

The partnership was announced to coincide with the official opening of EbonyLife Place London in Nine Elms.

A first-of-its-kind destination and home to the UK's only cinema dedicated exclusively to African and Black film, the venue also brings together art, fashion, retail, music and cultural experiences under one roof, creating a permanent London destination for African storytelling and creativity.

The venue opened with the support of the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and will host Film Africa screenings from 26 to 30 October.

As the Official UK Banking Partner, Nuvion will work with EbonyLife Place London to connect Africa's growing creative economy with the financial infrastructure and opportunities needed to operate internationally. Through its global accounts, cross-border payment and payout capabilities, and fiat and stablecoin rails, Nuvion can help businesses operating across markets receive payments, pay partners and manage funds across multiple currencies from a single platform.

"Africa's creative economy is increasingly global, but the people and businesses powering it still face barriers when operating across markets," said Keisha Clark, Managing Director, Nuvion. "Our partnership with EbonyLife Place London is about backing that ambition with the financial infrastructure businesses need to operate, get paid and grow globally."

Mo Abudu, Founder and CEO of EbonyLife Group, added: "EbonyLife Place London is about creating a new home for African and Black culture in London, bringing together food, fashion, art, music and, of course, film under one roof. It also demonstrates the extraordinary soft power of our culture to the world, and our invitation is open to all.

"We are delighted to partner with Nuvion, creating opportunities to connect the founders, creators and businesses behind our stories with the tools and networks that can support their ambitions globally."

The partnership will continue beyond the opening, with Nuvion and EbonyLife Place London collaborating on cultural and business-focused programming and activations over the coming year.
